Producer Harry Pallenberg is almost done with his historical race track DVD “Where They Raced,” which ghost-hunts all the great race tracks of Southern California, from Beverly Hills board tracks, to Gilmore Stadium to Ascot and Lions drag strip. Ford is recalling 1.1 million pickups to fix fuel-tank straps that can corrode and possibly break. The recall covers 1997-2003 Ford F-150s, F-250s and the Lincoln Blackwood pickup. The fuel-tank straps could corrode over time, leading to failure and the tank dropping to the pavement.
